Inaugurated in September 2002, Museu do Pão (Museum of Bread) is today one of the reference brands of museology in Portugal and the biggest complex dedicated to this theme in the World.
Located in the mountains of Serra da Estrela, in Seia, the Museum reached the remarkable milestone of one million visitors before completing the first decade of existence.
The transversality of the theme “Bread” turns this space into a true icon irrespective of age, gender, race or creed. With four thematic rooms, a bar-library, a traditional grocer’s shop and a restaurant, the visit to Museu do Pão is always an experience of sharing, of contact with nature and of enrichment of the Soul.
What we want to put into action every day is the ideological basis of all our thought and the maximum recognition of the humanisation of economy.
