Brasileira do Chiado promotes artistic talks within the Painting Prize

Until September 30th you can participate in the Painting Prize and have your work exhibited in the most iconic Café in Lisbon The talks around this event start on September 4th

In May A Brasileira do Chiado announced the launch of a Painting Prize to mark 100 years of the first modernist paintings of A Brasileira, placed there in 1925, with the aim of resuming the close relationship between the Café and the community artistic. The award ceremony is scheduled for November 19th, the date on which the 119th anniversary of A Brasileira is celebrated and will take place at MUDE, the Design Museum, in Lisbon, recently reopened.

 

Until September 30th, there is still time to participate with a work of your own. Just follow the rules stipulated in the competition, which you can check on the brand’s website, at www.abrasileira.pt. The 10 winners will have the opportunity to see their work exhibited in A Brasileira, an unmissable showcase of Lisbon as the historic and privileged place that it is.

 

To boost the competition, from September 4th to December 5th, Mensagem de Lisboa, which has its emotional headquarters in A Brasileira, promotes a cycle of talks, always at 6:30 pm, moderated by Mensagem journalists Catarina Carvalho and Ana da Cunha.
