In a collaboration with Searchlight Pictures, owned by 20th Century Studios, a division of Walt Disney Studios, the Fantastic World of the Portuguese Sardine in Times Square joins the wondrous world of Alasdair Gray’s 1992 novel Poor Things, adapted for film and about to premier in theaters in the United States.

Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo and Willem Dafoe are the protagonists of the incredible story of the evolution of Bella Baxter and the Portuguese Sardine is the protagonist of a fantastic world that took place this year in Times Square. To celebrate the fantasy together, The Fantastic World of the Portuguese Sardine launched a limited-edition tin available in the New York store, with a special box that celebrates the two icons: the film “Poor Things” and Portuguese Sardine.

Fans in the United States can achieve their dream of attending the film’s premiere in New York this Wednesday, a unique opportunity to watch the event surrounded by movie stars. To do this, a participation is required in the giveaway promoted on the @portuguesesardine Instagram page until 4pm today, a challenge launched by the brand.

From filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos and producer Emma Stone comes the incredible tale and fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter (Stone), a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Under Baxter’s protection, Bella is eager to learn. Hungry for the worldliness she is lacking, Bella runs off with Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo), a slick and debauched lawyer, on a whirlwind adventure across the continents. Free from the prejudices of her times, Bella grows steadfast in her purpose to stand for equality and liberation.
