Ideas to celebrate World Beer Day?
A beer tasting among friends!

In this heat, there's always a fresh beer ready to surprise. But at the Beer Museum it's not just one; there are dozens! And they are handmade
and Portuguese!

This Friday, the world celebrates World Beer Day. If you are a lover of the most consumed alcoholic beverage in the world and if your personal taste takes you to a more fermented, full-bodied and dense beer, with a more intense aroma and flavor, with fruity or spicy notes or if, on the contrary, you prefer more malty and refreshing beers, in any case raise your glass! But raise it among friends, in a toast to those who work passionately in the production of craft beers in Portugal.

To celebrate this day, the Beer Museum created a program for beer lovers, who now have a unique opportunity to live the fascination of the beer experience.

For 45 minutes, a guide invites you on an immersive journey to the museum to reveal the history of beer over more than 7000 years and the program includes a tasting of 3 craft beers from different regions of the country in a private room, in a moment in which its origin, characteristics and how to combine them in the best way with food are explained.

Established in 2007 in California, World Beer Day is celebrated in more than 50 countries by beer fans. In Portugal, craft beer continues to challenge the classics, and this is the perfect program to do with groups of friends who share life stories and the passion for brewing.

With Portuguese gastronomy, beer and a spacious outdoor terrace in the heart of Terreiro do Paço, in Lisbon, the Beer Museum will have plenty of reasons to celebrate. Although World Beer Day is celebrated on the first Friday of August, every day is beer day for true connoisseurs of this delightful beverage.

Drink responsibly and in moderation.
